FILE MANAGEMENT

File Management tracks the physical location of all files in the firm, provides for record retention and destruction management, and is integrated with the Omega Legal system to ensure that the appropriate record room actions are taken for each matter. The system also supports bar code technology, to facilitate quick and accurate data entry of file movements.

A flexible numbering system allows you to use virtually any file numbering scheme, including an unlimited number of File Backers, or subfiles which can be tracked individually. The Omega Legal File Management System also provides a user-defined table to allow an unlimited number of file locations, including open shelving, long term storage, attorneys or other specified locations, etc.

Online review allows you to review a particular matter and display a list of all associated files.
